Alan Lauder (Ornithological Consultant)

Description

Alan Lauder is a nature conservation specialist with over 34 years’ experience in state and non-governmental conservation organisations, and private practice, in Ireland and the UK. He has extensive experience of conservation management for birds especially on wetland, coastal and upland habitats, including successfully managing and restoring sites for breeding waders. He was Chair of the Irish Curlew Task Force (2017-2019) and is widely recognised for his leadership role in wader conservation in Ireland over the past 15 years.
